Reuse

Reuse: Not throwing something away if it can still be used.

By throwing things away, we are filling up areas of land that could be put to good use. Often these items can be reused for other things.

Before throwing items away, think carefully about reusing it or perhaps someone else can. Freecycle is an online community you can join to get rid of those things you no longer want and maybe useful to someone.

There have been many examples of making good use out of what appeared to be rubbish. Plants have been grown in peculiar objects like Wellington boots. There are plenty of companies who specialise in taking throw-away goods and putting them to good use.

Send us your tips for reusing.
